The lowly beginning of what became the First United Methodist Church of Wharton can be traced back to the 1830s. Through many trials and new beginnings, the congregation has grown and persevered to the present day. When it became time to shed the old ‘reader board’ sign and switch to an LED message board, Apple Signs was consulted. We came up with this design which incorporates the LED sign with the upper ID section. The ID section uses a molded face which makes the sign copy bolder with stronger colors and a very long service life. The LED component will allow the church to provide real-time updates for the numerous ministries and activities that happen in this busy congregation.
