Apple Signs has been working with a local shopping center developer for several years on their permanent signage needs. Recently, our customer reached out to us to design and build a pylon sign for a shopping center he was developing on N. Shepherd in Houston. The shopping center site plan was small and we were tasked with designing a pylon sign that was in proportion to the site as well as determining a location for the sign that would maximize exposure. This internally illuminated LED pylon sign, a freestanding sign structure, is designed to be visible from a distance to attract passing traffic. The pylon sign has a classic structure with an aluminum frame, white acrylic faces with a dark bronze skirt, dark bronze crown and dark bronze retainers. The geographic area of this shopping center consists of a mix of commercial uses and this pylon sign provides a focal point for the shopping center and its multiple tenants.
